INVITATION TO SERVE ON JUBILEE!'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

We’re listening for a few radiant Jubilants who feel a gentle nudge to help guide and steward Jubilee! through service on our Board of Directors.

• Is there a quiet yes within you for this kind of shared leadership?
• Do you feel at home in ways of leading that are intuitive, collaborative and open to what wants to emerge?
• Do you find meaning in creative problem-solving and working alongside others to nurture something you love?

Board service at Jubilee! is both a gift and a responsibility. It is a meaningful way to weave your presence, wisdom, and skills into the life of this community as it continues to grow and evolve. At the same time, we want to be transparent about what this commitment involves. Board members are asked to:

• Prepare for and participate in monthly Board meetings held on the third Monday of each month
• Serve on one or two Board committees that meet regularly
• Commit to serving a three-year term as a Board member
• Uphold confidentiality, integrity and accountability in the shared stewardship of Jubilee!
• Help carry forward the goals and vision emerging from our recent community retreat and this important season of transition and growth

This year, our work is also being guided by the spirit of the Seven S’s — the qualities we have chosen to embody in our leadership together, including sacred service, stewardship, sustainability and spirit-led collaboration. These values shape how we listen, discern and act on behalf of the community.
You might feel especially called if you:

• Enjoy organizing, communicating and detail work, and could step into the role of secretary
• Have financial experience or comfort with budgeting and would like to partner with Ray in tending our resources
• Bring prior board or leadership experience along with a collaborative spirit, a sense of humor, and a willingness to explore bold ideas when they serve the community
• Play well with others, value shared leadership, cherish community, and remain open to creative solutions that may not always fit inside the usual box
• Or simply feel a sincere desire to serve and are willing to participate with care and commitment

No single background defines a Board member — what matters most is a shared commitment to the well-being of Jubilee! and a willingness to participate with integrity, openness and heart.
