Karen Brailsford Will Lead June 13th Sunday Celebration

Karen Brailsford of the Agape International Spiritual Center will be leading the June 13th Sunday Celebration at Jubilee!, a non-denominational faith community in Asheville, NC that embraces all spiritual beliefs.

This will be Karen's second time leading the Sunday Celebration at Jubilee! this year. Appropriate to the meaning of the word agape -- a Greco-Christian term referring to unconditional love, "the highest form of love, charity" and "the love of God for man, and of man for God" -- Karen’s recent reflection (i.e. sermon) at Jubilee! was “Rooted & Grounded in Love.”  Watch a replay

An author and spiritual guide, Karen is a licensed spiritual practitioner with the Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles where she serves as the coordinator of its pastoral care ministry, One From the Heart.

The author of the award-winning Sacred Landscapes of the Soul: Aligning with the Divine Wherever You Are published by Wyatt-MacKenzie in 2020, Karen is the recipient of a Nautilus Book Award and a National Indie Excellence Award.  Sacred Landscapes has garnered praise from the world’s most renowned spiritual teachers and writers.

Agape’s founder and spiritual director Michael Bernard Beckwith says Karen’s “inspired messages and affirmations light the path on our journey towards, and through, eternal peace.”

According to Thomas Moore, author of Care of the Soul and Ageless Soul, Sacred Landscapes “is like a spirited choir singing the wisdom of the ages. It is grounded in intelligent thoughts from the great spiritual writers and song-makers and offers inspiring and transformative guidance.”

Says Rev. Matthew Fox, “Calling in maelstroms of emotions and heartache, shadow and light, spiritual practitioner Karen Brailsford offers a rich banquet of meditations and images to awaken, calm, challenge and excite soul, mind, heart and body.”

You can read Karen’s essays, fiction, and poetry in Unity Magazine, the Write Volumes digital anthologies and on her blog, “A Life Is God Writ Large.” Connect with her at karenbrailsford.com.
